ATSCO Nationals Loses Friday To Rain

Early morning rain that delayed the start of Friday's qualifying for the 14th annual
NHRA ATSCO Nationals at Firebird International Raceway has forced the cancellation
of any further racing. Friday ATSCO Nationals tickets will be accepted as trade-ins
toward Saturday or Sunday tickets, or a voucher toward any 1998 event, through next
year's ATSCO Nationals.   Qualifying will resume Saturday, with Federal-Mogul and
Professional categories vying for ladder positions for Sunday's eliminations.
